Terms of Service

General terms of business (AGB). Last updated: 22 October 2026.

1. Provider and scope

unslop is based in Germany. Contact: [email protected]. These terms cover use of the website, detection, rewriting and word-credit purchases.

2. The service

unslop provides automated writing analysis and suggested rewrites. Detector scores estimate writing patterns; they do not establish authorship. We do not guarantee a result from any third-party detector, academic acceptance or an error-free rewrite. Check facts, meaning, numbers, references and terminology before relying on an output. Follow the rules of your institution and disclose assistance where required.

3. Accounts and free words

Keep your login credentials secure and use an email address you control. New eligible accounts receive 1,000 free rewrite words. Free allowances must not be obtained through duplicate accounts or other abuse. Detection is currently offered free. Changes to future offers do not automatically revoke purchased rights.

4. Orders, prices and credits

The checkout identifies the package, total price, currency, applicable taxes and any use limits before payment. Credits are prepaid word allowances, not a recurring subscription unless expressly described otherwise. A paid contract is confirmed by the order confirmation. The advertised packages currently start at USD9 for 10,000 words. The selected offer and confirmation govern your purchase.

The service applies the word-count and daily-use limits disclosed in the app and offer. Contact us if a charge or balance appears wrong; these terms do not exclude statutory remedies for defective digital services.

5. Your content

You retain your rights in your inputs. You grant us permission to process them as necessary to provide the requested service. Only submit content you are entitled to use. No ownership of your research is transferred to unslop. Any further use for model improvement must have an appropriate, separately documented legal basis as explained in the Privacy Policy.

6. Availability and acceptable use

Processing times vary and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. Do not compromise the service, circumvent usage controls or infringe others’ rights. Where necessary, access may be restricted proportionately to address abuse; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. Consumer withdrawal and defects

Consumers may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Immediate performance does not automatically remove that right. Any early expiry must satisfy the applicable legal requirements, including the required express request/consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. Statutory rights for defective digital products remain unaffected.

8. Liability

Nothing here excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Applicable law and contact

German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections under the law applicable to them. These terms do not impose an exclusive German court on consumers. Material changes to existing contractual rights require an appropriate legal basis and notice; merely updating this page does not retroactively replace agreed terms.
